Aaron Richards

OWNER

Aaron Richards is the Owner of Barden Home Builders. His main focus is managing day to day operations and coordinating the field crews.

Aaron has served on the Board of Directors for 6 years at the Northern Arizona Building Association and was the president in 2020. He is also the Chairman of his 20 Club Group through the National Association of Home Builders. He is active in funding raising for local charity and food banks.

Aaron has been a resident of Northern Arizona since 1990. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys skiing, hunting, camping, golfing, and boating in the western United States.

Brian

Brian
GENERAL MANAGER

As General Manager, Brian brings over 30 years of operations management experience in both Powersports and Construction. He has owned and operated a new home building company as well as a design-build landscape firm in the Colorado mountains. Having extensive experience building in mountain climates, Brian is well-acquainted with the unique conditions of Northern Arizona, where he now resides in Munds Park.

A strong believer in teamwork and mentorship, Brian has also served as a Level 4 USA Hockey Coach for the past 20 years. Outside of work, he enjoys off-road adventures in the mountains with his longtime partner and their four dogs. Brian is also a proud father to a 19-year-old son currently serving in the U.S. Army Flight Training Program.

Michelle

OPERATIONS MANAGER

With over a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Michelle brings a deep understanding of every stage of the building process to her role as Operations Manager at Barden Home Builders. Her background spans water mitigation, painting, and flooring contracting, giving her a well-rounded perspective that ensures projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Michelle is known for her organized, solutions-focused approach and her commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. She works closely with teams and clients alike to keep timelines on track and expectations exceeded.

Outside of work, you’ll find Michelle running, hiking, and enjoying time with her family—always ready for the next adventure.

LAUREN
SENIOR DESIGNER

Lauren is Senior Designer at Barden Home Builders.  She has over 20 years of experience building personal, trusting relationships with clients.  Lauren enjoys designing beautiful and functional interiors from conceptual development, space planning and material research to finish selection and coordination as well as thinking through the practicalities of design. Lauren strives to design unique interiors that will have a positive impact on her clients’ lives, she possesses an innate desire to create and design interiors that exceed clients’ expectations.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University. She worked in commercial interior design for 4 years before making the transition to residential interiors joining BHB in 2020.  She loves living and working in Northern Arizona and endeavors to support local vendors and businesses whenever possible.

She enjoys spending time by the lake, family ski days and traveling.

Randy

RANDY
PROJECT MANAGER

Randy is a Project Manager at Barden Home Builders.  He has over 30 years of experience in residential construction.  Randy has worked with BHB for many years as a licensed subcontractor and, fortunately for us, made the move to a full-time position on our team!  Randy is skilled in all aspects of construction and brings an optimistic, “get-in-done” attitude to each project.  With his years of experience, he has an eye for quality from start to finish.

Randy has lived in Flagstaff since 1994.  He enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, boating, camping and all things horse power!

Jessie

JESSIE
PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Jessie is an Assistant Project Manager and Interior Designer at Barden Home Builders. She grew up in Phoenix Arizona, but after moving up North to attend NAU, fell in love with the mountains and moved to Flagstaff full time. She graduated with an Interior Design degree in 2016 with a Certificate in Event Management.

Jessie loves to create beautiful, functional spaces and spread the power of design to her clients. She is passionate about sustainability, flow of space and efficiency in design. She enjoys conversing with everyone she meets and finds it inspiring to enhance a space to fit the clients’ specific needs.

In her free time, she enjoys dancing, playing piano, painting, and hanging with her husband Tod, and yorkie, Ivy.
